Weed Terminator-20 plus Boost

The indiscriminant, almost universal, application of glyphosate-based herbicides and other toxic pesticides for the past 50⁺ years is correlated closely with the deterioration of human, animal and environmental health. Significant residues of glyphosate-based herbicides were found in 80 % of the U.S. population sampled by a unit of the CDC in 2022. The prevalence of the highly water-soluble, systemic glyphosate herbicide in human tissues and urine has been steadily increasing since the introduction of glyphosate-tolerant crops and wide-spread applications of it to desiccate crops before harvest. The USGS has documented that multiple applications of glyphosate over many years have resulted in soil accumulations of glyphosate and its toxic early degradation compound, AMPA, in excess of two tons per square mile in many areas of the U.S.  

We all know that weeds can become important competitors that reduce crop production and aesthetic value; however, we have to make some changes in order to have both the abundance of food as well as SAFE food. Continuing to do the same thing isn’t a tolerable option. In testing some of the available non-toxic alternatives to glyphosate, I have been especially impressed with the performance of Contact Organic’s herbicide (Contact Organic’s Weed Terminator20 plus Contact Organic’s Boost adjuvant) that has been recently registered for use in the U.S. This herbicide combination is a non-toxic, contact herbicide that is friendly to the beneficial soil microbes and quickly disappears after the job is done. It is a highly effective killer of Roundup-resistant weeds also so you can admire the Contact benefits within just a few hours rather than having to wait around for several days or weeks. We all benefit by eliminating the buildup of toxic chemicals in the soil and environment. That drastically changed when we found your product. It is totally safe to use around water, children, and pets. It is also superfast and won’t harm the grass. Literally, within 15 minutes of the application you see these unwanted plants turning brown and dying.

I first heard of Contact Organics at the Mill’s Turf Expo at Hopkins Brewery last summer. I saw the demo spray area that was only sprayed less than 24 hours earlier and was very impressed!
